The history of Reining

1925
Fre Reining starts a delivery service by horse and carriage in the city of Groningen. During the management of his son Be Reining and his wife Henriette Reining-Viswat there is a large growth in the field of international transport.

1989
There were no successors within the family, which was reason for the sale to the Wagenborg Group.

1995
Reining buys Labie Transport in Dongen because of the ideal location for Southern Europe.

1996
Acquisition of Lindken GmbH in Bottrop, later moved to Weener.

Acquisition of the warehouse activities of Dobber in Hoogezand.

1999
New 50,000 m² warehouse near the A7 on business park Rengers in Hoogezand.

2002
Integration of the warehouse operations of SCA Tilburg.

2003
Opening of a branch in Budapest, Hungary.

Opening of the new office building on business park Rengers in Hoogezand.

2014
Closure of the office and Warehouse in Tilburg.

Reining continues as an independent company by means of a Management Buy Out.

2019
Reining takes over Ibele Logistik und Handelsgesellschaft, located in Wilhelmsdorf, Baden Württemberg.
